my name is reuben and i am a guard and general volantere on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway i spend almost all of my free time there when im not at collage and i love it. my other railway is the bluebell railway where im realy just a general dogs body. i am hoping to become a volantere on the Spa Valley railway soon to.

Ihave made majour changes to my layout for operational reasons. i tryed to include as much of the original layout as possible but in doing this i created large problems such as derailments on curves that were too sharp.

This is the progress that i am making with my 'OO' gague layout it measures 12' by 8' and it has grown from a 8' by 6' layout that featured at the ravenglass and eskdale railways day out with thomas event in october 2007

Carnforth openened its doors for the first time since 1997 and many people turned up to see the old steam shed now owned by 'west coast railways' the ratty had a stand there in the carrage shed to promote the railway.
